A Chara,
Here is the information regarding liability insurance coverage for youth clubs.
The USGAA County Board has negotiated a Sports General Liability Policy with Kevin Sullivan of Rucking Insurance Services at a cost of $200.00 per club. Every stand alone youth club needs to pay this.

The divisional youth boards do not have to pay a fee as they are covered under the USGAA.
The insurance policy covers all club members, all training and playing venues. The insurance company will issue a certificate of insurance for each venue that a club or divisional board uses. Prior to the certificates being issued, clubs need to forward all facilities that they use. We will need the club name, division, venue contact name, venue name, address, and phone number.

Please go to
usgaa.org/usgaa-insurance/ and fill out your clubs info to receive your Insurance certificate.

Please include a check payable to American Gaelic Games for $200 per club and mail to:

All Youth programs must have liability insurance, they will be required to send USGAA Youth Secretary a copy of the policy that they have in place. secretarybng.usa@gaa.ie

You will be receiving a seperate e-mail regarding coach background checks, but as a note all coaches MUST complete a background check through the USGAA and or CYC registration.  Your insurance policy will be null and void if a coach with your team does not complete this check.
